At Songbird Concerts, we bring the heart of storytelling and song to the St. Louis community. Inspired by the Bluebird Café in Nashville, Steve St. Cyr founded Songbird in 2011. In 2024, Steve passed the Songbird baton to Jenny Heim and John Wendland. Songbird’s in-the-round performances feature four incredible singer-songwriters swapping stories and songs in an intimate, listening-room environment. Here, the music takes center stage—free from distractions and barroom noise—so every lyric, melody, and moment resonates with the audience. It’s more than a concert; it’s a connection.
